Hello! I'm Douglas, a graphic designer and artist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I've always had a passion for collecting stickers, which inspired me to create my own designs. This journey led me to establish Doodles by Douglas in May 2022. 

My creative process often begins with me doodling, and many of my art pieces and concepts emerge from these doodles, which is why I decided to name my art business Doodles by Douglas. Beyond making and collecting stickers, this space also serves as a platform for all my imaginative ideas. I am truly delighted and grateful to share these playful creations with my audience.

It all starts with a doodle (＾▽＾)

Doodles by Douglas is all about pulling ideas from unexpected places and transporting you back to childhood, where you rediscover the simple joy and happiness a child possesses, and inviting you to forget about the stresses of adult life. My illustrations often spring from quick, whimsical scribbles, evolving into expressive characters and simple scenes. Though visually uncomplex, they're designed to evoke joy and a touch of quirkiness through bold lines, vibrant colours and relatable everyday moments.

At its heart, Doodles by Douglas celebrates imperfections. Nothing is meant to be perfectly polished; instead, like an authentic doodle, my drawings embrace their imperfections, further highlighting their childlike charm and spontaneous spirit.
